Boston Glass Group fabricates custom mirrors to size in house by cutting down larger sheets, finishing the edges, and cutting holes if necessary. Vanity mirrors can be cut to fit directly on top of a backsplash, or hung using special mirror hardware for a ‘floating’ effect. We custom measure all of our mirrors ‘in the field’ to ensure an exceptional fit.

Our team offers custom metal framed mirrors using ⅜” or ¾” J channel framing in a variety of framing. This is a great solution for a framed mirror that you want to ‘pop’ against your wall – a common finish for these frames would be satin brass or matte black. With our ability to custom size these frames and cut outlets and electrical sconces, we have a higher level of freedom than a stock sized framed mirror.

At home gyms have grown more and more popular over the past few years. Boston Glass Group custom measures and installs single or multi mirror walls. One way mirrors are a great way to provide some privacy while also being able to see out of a room or space. A thin metallic, reflective coating is applied to the glass to make the surface ‘half-silvered’. The reflective molecules in the coating make the mirror half opaque and the half silvered surface allows half the light to be reflected back. This creates a scenario where a dark room can see out to a bright room, but the bright room cannot see back in providing privacy on one side.
